Duration:  1 week residential held at the Melbourne Universtity Business School, Mt Eliza, Victoria, combined with distance education

Including training materials, accommodation, all meals, morning and afternoon tea, venue recreation facilities, comfortable training rooms, proposed field trips and transfers to and from the airport for interstate participants. Excluding airfare and personal expenses.

Description

The Diploma of Facility Management provides course participants with skill and knowledge in the day-to-day business running’s of recreational facilities. Participants are trained in a range of practical business units covering management, finance, HR, marketing and training, with a specialisation in one of the following Areas:

• Business Development
• Plan & Manage Conferences
• Evaluate Marketing Opportunities
• Establish & Adjust the Marketing Mix
• Develop a Marketing Communications Plan
• Implement a Marketing Solution
• Review Marketing Performance

Modes of training delivery

The course highlights flexibility, with credit toward the degree able to be achieved through a combination of mentoring, buddy groups, learning groups, network groups, forums, e-learning and face-to-face.
