The YMCA is committed to staff development in Body, Mind and Spirit. Since 1949 the YMCA has assisted employees develop a strong financial future. Over time the strategy has evolved to become, from 1 January 1997, the Australian YMCA Superannuation Fund (AYSF), ‘the Fund’. The Australian YMCA Superannuation Fund (AYSF), is a complying superannuation Fund and is eligible to be your Fund of choice for the Australian Government choice of Fund option for employees. The AYSF is is the default Superannuation fund for YMCA employees.

The purpose of the fund is to provide superannuation benefits for:

  1. Past, present and future employees of the YMCA in Australia
  2. Other persons eligible to be members of the Fund
  3. Dependants or other beneficiaries of members of the Fund

Fund assets are invested according to a carefully planned growth strategy that aims to secure real returns in the medium to long term. The Fund has approximately $85 million in funds under management and, combined with its voluntary board members and use of external wholesale investment managers, it offers member services at fees which are competitive.

We are pleased to announce that the Australian YMCA Superannuation Fund (AYSF) has successfully obtained an APRA RSE licence.
